Helpdesk cost calculator
See what your support team costs on per-agent pricing, and how a GBP Solves team band compares. Change the figures to match your team.
Why it matters
Per-agent pricing punishes small teams
Most helpdesks charge per agent, per month. That is fine for a large, stable team, but for a small UK business it means the person who only helps out on a busy Monday still costs a full seat. Team bands change the maths: you size the plan to the team and let helpers help.
Use the calculator to sanity-check your current spend, then look at the bands on the pricing page. The Starter lets you try Solves first, and the founding pilot gives the first 20 teams Team at GBP 49 a month for six months.
FAQ
About this calculator
How does this calculator work?
It multiplies the number of people who handle support by your per-agent monthly cost to estimate what a typical per-agent helpdesk charges, then compares it to the Solves Team band, which is a flat GBP 79 a month whatever your headcount. It compares the pricing model and is not a formal quote.
Why do team bands save money for small teams?
Per-agent pricing charges for every seat, so an occasional helper who picks up overflow costs a full agent fee. Solves charges one GBP price for a band of usage, so helpers can help without each triggering a paid seat.
