A newsroom that says where we actually are.

Solves is a UK-first, email-first support desk built by a small, founder-led UK team at pilot stage. This is a holding newsroom: no invented coverage, no fabricated quotes, no numbers we cannot stand behind. What you will find here is an honest description of the product, a wordmark and boilerplate you can quote, and a direct line to the people building it.

Pilot stage, not generally available yet. We say so plainly.

The honest position

A holding newsroom, not a press archive

We would rather have a near-empty newsroom that is true than a busy one that is invented. Solves is young, so there is no coverage, no release history and no award shelf to show you, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Solves is a founder-led UK team at pilot stage. The core product is shipped and in real use with a small number of early adopters, but it is not generally available, and we are deliberately not publishing customer names, user counts, revenue, funding or headcount, because the house rule is that the copy stays truthful. If you are writing about us, that honesty is the story: a small UK team building one thing well and refusing to dress up the stage it is at.

When there is genuine news, such as reaching general availability, a meaningful product milestone, or a fact we can stand behind, it will be posted here with a date. Until then, treat this page as the reliable starting point: the product description, the boilerplate and the wordmark below are written to be quoted as they are.

What Solves is

Solves in one paragraph

If you only quote one thing, quote this. It is written to be accurate and to need no editing.

Solves is a UK-first, email-first support desk for small teams that have outgrown a shared inbox. It turns support addresses such as support@, info@ and accounts@ into owned, timed tickets, with ownership and assignment, states and priority, public replies, hard-separated private notes, saved replies, first-response and resolution SLA timers with a breaching view that surfaces overdue tickets, and multi-brand support so several customer-facing brands run from one login and one queue. It is deliberately narrow: email-first, with no live chat, phone or social inboxes, and not an omnichannel contact centre. Solves is built by a small, founder-led UK team and is at pilot stage.

Please describe Solves as a support desk or helpdesk for support email, not as a contact centre or omnichannel platform, and please do not attribute live chat, phone or social channels to it, because it offers none of those by design.

FAQ

Press and media questions

Has Solves been covered in the press?

Not yet, and we will not invent coverage we do not have. Solves is a founder-led UK team at pilot stage, so this is a holding newsroom rather than a press archive. There are no releases, features or named publications to point you to today. When there is genuine news, such as general availability or a milestone we can stand behind, it will be published here and dated. Until then, the honest position is that the product is young and being hardened with early adopters.

How do I make a press enquiry?

Use the contact page and tell us you are a journalist, writer or analyst, with what you are working on and your deadline. Press enquiries are handled directly by the founder-led team rather than an agency, so you reach someone who actually builds the product. We will reply on UK business hours. We would rather give you an accurate, on-the-record answer than a polished claim we cannot back up.

Can I use the Solves name and wordmark?

Yes, for editorial and reporting use. Please write the name as Solves, in normal sentence case, and use the wordmark as supplied without recolouring, stretching or adding effects. Do not imply a partnership, endorsement or that Solves sponsored a piece unless we have agreed that in writing. If you need the wordmark in a particular format or a short factual fact-check before you publish, ask through the contact page and we will help.

What can I accurately say Solves does?

That Solves is a UK-first, email-first support desk for small teams that have outgrown a shared inbox, turning support email into owned, timed, multi-brand tickets. It is at pilot stage, not generally available. Please avoid describing it as a contact centre, an omnichannel platform, or as offering live chat, phone or social inboxes, because it does none of those by design. The boilerplate below is written to be quoted as-is.

Do you share metrics, customer names or screenshots?

We do not publish customer names, logos, revenue or user counts, because at pilot stage we will not print numbers we cannot stand behind. We are glad to talk on background about how the product works, the email-first and UK-first design choices, and our approach to encryption at rest and metadata-only logging. For screenshots or a short walkthrough for an article, ask through the contact page and we will arrange something accurate.
